SUMMER 2014 NEWS:
TWO NOVELS DUE FOR PUB THIS YEAR
Editing can be a long, slow, process. This is where we are to date. The sequel to Drowning is in its final edit, due for publication autumn 2014.
A Passion for Classic Cars, the sequel to the best-selling Mother-in-Law, Son-in-Law, is due for publication just before Christmas 2014, not with us but with the major who've bought up our erotic titles, so that will be available at Waterstones online.
The writing on Labrats is finished and is now in the edit for publication spring 2015.
Jude is currently researching how to write screenplays with a view to adapting Mother-in-Law, Son-in-Law for British television. Watch this space or follow Jude on Facebook or Twitter.

NEW YEAR 2013 NEWS:
COME DINE WITH ME, A BESTSELLER AND MORE NOVELS
Every time Channel 4 or More 4 broadcast The Come Dine With Me which Jude won, Mother-in-Law, Son-in-Law
shoots straight back up into the Amazon erotica bestseller lists. This means that at all the dinner parties Jude gets invited to, she can now brag about being a best-selling author before farting and falling face-first into the cheesecake.
The title has now been signed up by leading erotica specialists, House Of Erotica and is now listed on Amazon as Cougar Erotica. Ooooh my word. You can buy it in paperback and as an e-book at many leading online retailers. LMGTFY.
Meanwhile, the editing on Drowning, the sequel to My Adventures in Cyberspace, continues. Rome wasn't built in a day and nor were Jude's semi-autobiographical novels. The novel is due for publication in 2014 as is Jude's novel Labrats, about a group of volunteers on a residential medical trial.
House of Erotica have requested a sequel to Mother-in-Law, Son-in-Law, and Jude is 10K into the writing of A Passion of Classic Cars featuring the same main characters from Mother-in-Law, Son-in-Law. But who is shagging whom this time, hmmm? The

JUDE READS TO MILLIONS OF LISTENERS ON CAPITAL RADIO
When Capital Radio got in touch to ask Jude to perform some of her erotic novel Mother-in-Law, Son-in-Law for their listeners, Jude said YES! MOTHER-IN-LAW, SON-IN-LAW SIGNED UP BY BIG E-PUBLISHER
Above, Fleur De Lys Executive PA Honey Higginbotham on the blower to the big e-pub author liason guy.
That's right, since Mother-in-Law, Son-in-Law became a best-seller on Amazon, recently reaching the dizzy heights of #23 in Kindle Erotica, #34 in Books Erotica and #319 in all of Kindle (not just the naughty books, all the serious literary fiction as well!)
Fleur De Lys have been approached by a major e-pub wanting to sign the book up, so that in future it will be available not only on Amazon but in 200 e-retailers, including Barnes & Noble, Tesco, Waterstones etc, yanno, all the biggies.
Naturally, Honey sweet-talked them into a six-figure advance (or did she? Who knows what that cheeky minx gets up to when she's not down the nail salon or off scuba diving in the Red Sea) and Mother-in-Law, Son-in-Law will be hitting the stores soon with the same cover but big e-biz branding. More soon...
SPRING 2012 NEWS:
MOTHER-IN-LAW SON-IN-LAW'S A BEST-SELLER!
I WON COME DINE WITH ME!
On February 10th 2012 I won the British prime time Channel 4 TV show Come Dine With Me. You can see it until March here on 4OD. If you're viewing outside the UK, you can view the show using Tunnelbear which is free for the first month's use.
Since appearing on Come Dine With Me, Mother-in-Law, Son-in-Law became a best-seller, going into the TOP 100 in both book and Kindle in the Amazon Erotica charts.
That screengrab is obviously before I knew I was now a best-selling author, so you can imagine what I'm like now :)
Now I've had a couple of glasses of champers it's nose to the grindstone again to finish writing Labrats in time for publication later this year...

Winter 2008 / Spring 2009 Book Releases
Warning! Some book descriptions contain explicitly sexual language which people of a sensitive nature may find offensive. This is an info site. There are regular articles over at the Blog.
My wife is always off having ‘down time’ with her secret life. My mother-in-law’s got a secret life too.
Kate married far too young. Now husband Alex, once the love her life, bores her to tears. He's so busy gardening and watching repeats of Top Gear on the tele, he would never guess about Kate's secret life with her lover Colin.
But gardening and Top Gear can keep a man happy for only so long. Especially with a Mother-in-Law as voluptuous and gorgeous as Julia, a lonely widow who hasn't had sex for five years.

MY ADVENTURES IN CYBERSPACE
Chapter 1 - Fuck 'Em
Love is the only path to take, amongst the many confusing and tangled branches of paths which present themselves to us every day of our lives.
But sometimes we choose to go down the wrong path, and sometimes, that’s what makes life all the more entertaining; our failures, our insecurities, listening to the subversive whispers in our ears of Edgar Allen Poe’s ‘Imp of the Perverse’.
The bar is crowded, packed with hysterical people frothing at the mouth and baying for my blood.
I cannot see a face, I cannot hear a sound.
For this is cyberspace.
I have arrived, and instinctively I know that whilst following my natural inclination to dole out love, these fuckers are going to get punished. This is the gold rush, they have inadvertently drawn me into the fray, and I’m going to get those gold nuggets and leave them incredulous and furious.
What's It About?
MY ADVENTURES IN CYBERSPACE, by Jude Calvert-Toulmin, is set in Sheffield and on an internet discussion forum, back in the pioneering days of forums at the turn of the millennium.
Inspired by the author's life, it is a humorous, erotic dark tale of an unhappily married mother of three, Dominique DuBois, who falls in love with a man on a forum, without knowing what he looks like, merely by dint of his writing. Think Brief Encounter in cyberspace.

Pop Icons exhibition - Sade prints available to buy online
The photographs of Sade I took back in 1982, before she found international fame and was just one of my mates on the London music scene are now available to purchase online as signed prints from a limited edition of 50 here. Sade's new 2010 album Soldier of Love has quite deservedly topped the US and European charts.
My Sade prints were exhibited at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London last summer as part of Royal Society of British Sculptors member Guy Portelli's Pop Icons exhibition. The exhibition, with my photographs, is now on tour nationally with the possibility of a future global tour.
The exhibition was a huge success, and you can see some shots of the preparation and the private views here.

on Amazon. The sequel Drowning is due for publication autumn 2014, and Labrats is due out spring 2015.
Jude's erotic titles have now been bought up by a major. The best-seller Mother-in-Law, Son-in-Law is available from Waterstones either in ebook or in paperback and the sequel, A Passion for Classic Cars, is due for publication Christmas 2014.
Love the book!
I really enjoyed it and read it cover to cover very quickly. As soon as I started it, I didn't put it down until I'd finished it.
Anything published by the author is almost always awful. Thank God this was the exception!
It is notoriously difficult to write about sex well. I don't think there are any other genres within a genre that get awards for bad writing apart from descriptions of sex in books.
I'm amazed that this is a first effort because it is very confidently written. I particularly liked the fact that Calvert-Toulmin didn't succumb to the temptation of punishing the Kate character for being such a brat; the resolving of her situation was both mature and realistic.
An excellent first novel in a genre that is daunting for a first-time author.
Another thing I absolutely adore is the frontispiece ex libris design - it's great! I wish other books did that.
I'm looking forward to reading My Adventures in Cyberspace now.

Has anyone thought that if Dom was to publish this thread or bits of it in a book, she'd be the one that came out looking intelligent and literate? Can anyone else think of a reason she’s bothering to write such detailed posts as opposed to our usual:
> Shut up you're a twat
> No shut up you're a twat
Conspiracy theory? Maybe...
